Privacy Policy and Strict Confidentiality Statement

At Dr. Arjumand Raza’s clinic, the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of every client are treated as fundamental principles of professional practice. All personal information, contact details, medical information, psychological information, therapy records, assessment results, session discussions, treatment plans, and any other information shared by a client are treated as strictly confidential.

We do not share, disclose, sell, or provide a client's personal or therapeutic information to family members, friends, spouses, relatives, employers, schools, other professionals, medical doctors, psychiatrists, or any other third party without the client's explicit consent, except where disclosure is required by applicable law or where there is a serious and immediate risk of harm that legally requires intervention.

A family member, spouse, relative, friend, medical professional, or any other person may not obtain a client's information merely by claiming that the client has given permission or that the client will personally provide the information later. Information will only be released directly to another person or professional when the client has provided clear and verifiable consent through the appropriate process.

Where a client wishes their information to be shared with another medical doctor, psychiatrist, therapist, specialist, family member, or other professional, the client must personally provide appropriate consent and clearly specify the information that may be shared and the person or professional with whom it may be shared.

We take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect client information from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Confidentiality may only be limited where disclosure is required by law or where there is a legally recognised and serious safety concern requiring disclosure to protect the client or another person.

By using our services, clients acknowledge that professional confidentiality is a core part of the therapeutic relationship and that their information will be handled with the highest possible level of privacy and professional discretion.
